Dear valued partners, stakeholders, and friends of Adamas Wind,

We are delighted to share the news with you that our joint venture with the Galetech Group has formally completed.  Galetech’s investment in Adamas Wind significantly bolsters our maintenance offering for global clients. We are currently contracted to provide scheduled maintenance services for wind turbines operated by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the UK, along with services to over 100 independent wind turbines. Global energy firm Vattenfall has recently contracted with us to provide maintenance services for their Swinford wind farm which supplies 22MW of clean energy, or the equivalent of powering the annual energy needs of over 16,500 homes.

As a group, Galetech have identified the UK Independent Service Provider (ISP) sector as a key focus for growth over the coming years. Specifically, because of this strategic investment in Adamas Wind, they are targeting a threefold increase in ISP maintenance support with us over the next 3 years, from 1GW to 3GW. This will be supported by the creation of 30 specialist roles across the same timeframe. We are excited to be able to offer a dual maintenance offering across the UK and Ireland.

We would like to welcome the Galetech Group to the Adamas Team, and we look forward to continuing shared success.

Darren Sherry, Galetech Group Director says, “We are a leader in the renewable energy sector with a strong track record of successful projects and investments, and shares Adamas Winds’ vision for a world powered by clean energy. Our strategic investment partnership with Adamas Wind reinforces our position as a force to be reckoned with in the UK onshore wind market. With our vast expertise, resources, and network, we are confident that this investment will serve as a catalyst for Adamas Winds’ growth, enabling us both to reach new heights and make a more significant impact in the renewable energy landscape”.

David Still, Adamas Wind Chairman says “This partnership comes at a crucial time, as the demand for sustainable energy solutions continues to grow. By joining forces with the Galetech Group, we will be able to accelerate the development of our projects, expand our reach across the UK, and bring clean, renewable energy to more communities. Together, we are committed to driving innovation, reducing carbon emissions, and creating a brighter and more sustainable future for generations to come”.

As we embark on this exciting new chapter together, we want to express our gratitude to all those who have supported us along the way – our dedicated team, our loyal customers, partners, and our passionate supporters. Your unwavering belief in our mission has been instrumental in bringing us to this momentous occasion, and we look forward to sharing even greater successes together in the future.

In closing, we invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone as we work hand in hand with the Galetech Group to power our growth and drive positive change in the UK onshore wind market. Together, we will continue to harness the power of the wind and create a more sustainable, cleaner, and greener world for all.

Thank you for being a part of the Adamas Wind journey.
